When people say goodbye to unwanted things, the story often ends with “free to a good home” or “to help the needy.” But what does that really look like, in real life? In the junk removal business, we get to see firsthand just how impactful and heart-warming it is to see one person’s trash become another person’s much-needed basics for starting a new life.
Did you wake up one day seeing piles of junk on your curb or on the sidewalks near your home? Sometimes there are people who just indiscriminately leave junk wherever they feel like it. If you think it is not your problem because it is not on your property, think again.
A clean and organized home is relaxing and easy to maintain. Knowing where all of the things you need are, clutter-free halls, and a comfortable place to return to are just a handful of benefits of living in a clean home. Several homeowners fail to realize that a clean home can also keep you healthy.
Are you driven crazy by the tremendous amount of junk you have accumulated? You may not notice it right away, but junk creeps up on you when you do not regularly get rid of items you do not need. You suddenly find yourself with hallways full of clutter and rooms overflowing with unwanted clothes, boxes of documents, and boxes of old appliances.
Dilapidated and worn-out sheds are perfect for Halloween, but not for storage. Maybe it is about time to clean out your shed and get rid of all the junk that has gathered dust through the months or even years.
Due to publicity in television shows, there is a higher level of awareness regarding hoarding. But don’t be alarmed, because hoarding disorder is not as extreme as it is painted in the media and it takes more than just a closet filled with unwanted items to make you or anyone you know a hoarder. It may not be prevalent immediately, but hoarding has a negative effect on health, relationships, and quality of life, if left unaddressed.
Let's face it, electronic products become out-dated faster than Miley Cyrus does something outrageous, and with Black Friday right around the corner this could be the best time for an upgrade. Get rid of those old, tired, outmoded goods while replacing them with state of the art electronics on sale. Look, desktop computers now come without towers; laptops and desktops feature touchscreens; televisions offer better pictures, are more energy-efficient, and cheaper than ever; and printers are wireless.
Where does Junk King come into the equation? We can come collect the old stuff, while you wait in line for the new stuff. Thats right, electronics are considered E-waste and can't be thrown into the trash. What is E-waste? According to the State of California, “E-waste is a popular, informal name for electronic products nearing the end of their 'useful life.' Computers, televisions, VCRs, stereos, copiers, and fax machines are common electronic products..." are all considered E-Waste. These items contain hazardous materials like lead, barium and other heavy metals, toxic phosphor, glass dust, tin, lead, brominated dioxin, beryllium cadmium, and mercury, hydrocarbons, heavy metals, brominated substances that need to be disposed of properly.
Who wants to deal with getting rid of the old TV when they're busy setting up the new one? Give Junk King a call and we'll make disposing of the old items safe and easy. Sure you know all this, but why not pick up that old stupid-phone of yours, and give Junk King a call; or book online (do you have online on that old computer of yours?) Imagine using your closet for clothes, or your garage for cars, instead of junk.
At Junk King, we're cost competitive, we pride ourselves on being fast, the greenest, and we do all the work. See you on Black Friday, and remember—that one is mine!
Renee Ferguson of Dallas/Fort Worth Junk King can help you clear your clutter and make room for the whole family this holiday season. But did you know that she can also help you wow everyone with a Turkey recipe that will make the most committed sleep through Black Friday
Hot tubs can be a joy. Nothing better than settling in that hot tub, turning on the bubbles and soaking away your aches and pains.
We just wrapped up our second annual Junk King hauling and recycling conference. A marvelous time was had by all, as franchisees from across the country gathered to touch base and learn how to better serve our customers. The company is getting some great national exposure by appearing on Hoarding: Buried Alive as of November 6th. Not only that, we've opened or are soon opening in Canada and Chicago, where we are known as Junk Works. There's 50 Junk King (or Junk Works) franchises now all over North America. We launched our new, easier-than-ever-to-use website recently.
