National Wear Red Day® is February 7th, 2020. Join us as we work together to help the American Heart Association, Go Red for Women, and women’s heart health.
According to the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women website, the Go Red for Women movement is the AHA's signature women’s initiative.
"Go Red for Women is a comprehensive platform designed to increase women’s heart health awareness and serve as a catalyst for change to improve the lives of women globally."
Why is awareness so critical? It's estimated that nearly 80 percent of cardiac events in women can be prevented, yet cardiovascular diseases continue to be a woman’s greatest health threat.
February 7, 2020 Is National Wear Red Day - Join Us
The first Friday of every February is designated as American Heart Month and the nation comes together in a wave of red. Junk King is joining the movement to help achieve a common goal: the eradication of heart disease and stroke.
We will be donating $10 for every job booked on that day, nationwide, to the AHA.
All of our employees will, of course, be wearing red as well.
We invite you to become a part of the movement by not only making it a point to wear red on Friday the 7th, but to join us in helping make this goal a reality by calling Junk King to come and haul away your junk items that day.
