Junk King's Notable 2022 Year in Review

Here at Junk King, we’re proud to say that 2022 was a year to remember given all the major milestones we’ve hit. This year’s unparalleled success can be attributed to our sustainable model and strategic approach, including our goal to keep 60% of junk collected out of landfills through repurposing and recycling, along with our extra-large trucks that are 20% larger than our competitors. Check out some of the highlights from this past year:

One of our most notable high points from 2022 includes being acquired by Neighborly, the world’s largest home services company. Our brand currently has 150 locally owned franchises across 32 states and Canada, which led Neighborly to add our #1 Rated Junk Hauling Franchise to its growing home services portfolio.

Neighborly wasn’t the only group to recognize us this year — Forbes named us both one of the best dumpster rental services and one of the best junk removal services. Franchise Business Review’s 71.1 Franchise Satisfaction Index (FSI) score also showed that we’ve built strong franchisee satisfaction.

Adding to the widespread recognition Junk King received this year, we also earned the Franchise Times Zor Award as the Top Brand to Buy and were featured on its annual Top 500 list as well as Franchise Dictionary’s 2022 Game Changers Award.

Our Senior Vice President, Crissy Russo, was named one of Entrepreneur’s 50 Franchise CMO’s Who Are Changing the Game. To top it off, Darlene Viering, our Chief Sales Officer earned a spot on the 2022 Franchise Dictionary Women of Wonder List.

The junk removal service industry currently generates more than $10 billion, and we’re proud to say we’re leading the charge. Not only that, but we remain dedicated to representing ourselves through our mission to decrease the global carbon footprint and cut costs to benefit consumers and franchisees.
