That is the amount member businesses around the world are donating from their annual sales to environmental nonprofits. 1% for the Planet is the network that connects businesses and consumers to nonprofits that help improve our planet through environmental initiatives.

In celebration of Earth Day, during the month of April, Junk King is teaming up with 1% For The Planet and donating 1% of every job to the cause. With your help, this April we can make 1% a BIG number.

Some info on that cause: 1% for the Planet has been around for nearly ten years. In that time, they've become a mighty conduit for channeling funds across the globe to other non-profits that are dedicated to keeping our world clean and our energy sustainable. In those ten years, they have donated the following:

• $11 million to food, wildlife, water and climate sustainability initiatives
• $22 million to environmental education
• $18 million to land stewardship and environmental human health programs
